This beautiful sheepskin chair pad is richly imbued with long, thick fur that brings immediate comfort to any chair that it is used on.The pad is cut to just the right size to fit any standard chair. The skin is edged with a thick thread which appears sturdy, well stitched and has no gaps or missed stitching along the edge. This, I suspect, there will be no fraying of the edges.The package comes with four large spot tape pads that can be applied to the back of the skin to prevent sliding and movement of the pad on any solid surface however, if you choose to use these pads, the skin will not be easy to remove for cleaning as the pads are heavy duty use and stick with an adhesive that will not easily let loose. Once on, the chair pad can be considered permanently affixed to the chair or item where it is being used.The skin itself requires dry cleaning should it become soiled so I would recommend that you use an absorbent pad over the top of the sheepskin anywhere you plan to use it where liquid may be considered a problem. (Think children and red Kool aid).This beautiful skin looks great on a hardwood chair and I plan on purchasing additional pieces for my dining room set. The skin coloring is even and a gorgeous off-white that especially goes well with a darker colored wood. Currently one of the ones I purchased I am using on a recliner chair which has improved the comfort considerably.I would highly recommend this item. The sheepskin arrived exactly one week after I ordered it. It was well packaged in a vacuum sealed bag to prevent any bugs or other nasties from getting to the skin and easily fluffed up with a few shakes and a light soft brush. Be careful though, children and pets will quickly claim this item as their own due to the luxury comfort this beautiful chair pad provides. I had to fight off two dogs, my daughter AND my husband before I could claim it as my own!These fur chair pads are beautiful; I am using them to protect my linen Restoration Hardware kitchen chairs. There are thick and very rich looking.They fit my chairs perfectly and feel good to sit onMuch thicker than the CB2 I purchased before. Great valueI love this sheepskin seat cover! It arrived very well packaged and in perfect condition. It's just what I had been looking for and fits perfectly on my office chair.So soft with dense, long fibers. It fluffed up right out of the vacuum packaging. Shipping was fast.This is much nicer than just fur on a hide backing. It does have some padding and is quilt stitched on the back to hold the padding in place. This is NOT a thick cushion/pillow style but much nicer than those with just a single fabric back. It fit perfectly on the seat of my granddaughters hanging macrame chair.This would make a great seat cushion but we got it for our very spoiled chihuahua who loves our sheepskin rugs. I had purchased a fake one for his spot on the bed, he was not pleased. He loves this one! So it must be real!Confort total pour ma petite lily❤Tried the match test and am convinced this is real sheepskin. As pictured, the hairs are longer than your usual shorn sheepskin, so they get tangled from being sat upon. If you like your living room to look like people actually live in it (like me), it's for you. If not, you'll need a comb.My cats love laying in it in front of the fire. It would also make a nice lil seat cushion.Great quality and stays put on my leather office chair. Looks great. Recommend!Overly processed to the point that it no longer feels like sheepskin.
