I was worried these would be thin, stretchy, flimsy fabric seat covers. They are not. They are actually quite excellent. The materials are excellent quality -- outer layer is soft and plush, while inner layers are stiff and durable. The construction is similarly good. I could see the stitching on these holding up for several years.Seller is good about customization -- I have speakers in my headrests, so I asked them to thin the material around the headrest. They simply didn't attach the inner lining to that portion of the cover, and it works fantastic -- sound comes right through, and since its stretched fairly tight over the seats, the loss of rigidity is no problem.Very satisfied with this item.Only three things irked me, though neither was enough to knock off a star.1. The hole for the side airbag was about an inch too low. The airbag should still be able to get out OK in a pinch, the alignment is just off a bit.2. Seat covers were difficult to install without removing the seat entirely. This is more because of the car than the cover, through -- not a lot of room to work in a Miata's interior.3. Seat is slightly bucket-shaped, and so the cover tends to pull away from the center of the seat and leave a gap, which makes it slide around a bit easily. Again, not really the cover's fault -- the seat is difficult to work with, and I'm not sure how this issue could be solved without using something like spray adhesive (which would damage the seat leather and defeat the purpose of using a cover). An extra pair of elastic loops positioned precisely at the bend between the bottom cushion and the back cushion might help to keep the cover from sliding as I get in to and out of the seat. I might try to accomplish this using a bungee cord as a "belt" around the seat. But overall, this is very nitpicky and not that big an issue. Very nice and comfortable product!Final note: before installing the covers, I had about half an inch of headroom in my Miata with the top up. With the seat covers installed, I only have about a quarter-inch. But I still fits! So I sits. And zoom zoom
