I have a SUV and previously had a hammock in the backseat. My dog seemed to not be able to balance and get comfortable when he lay down. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to replace the hammock as I just bought it a year ago and it’s in good shape. But I decided to get this new version with the hard, flat seat for my dog to lie on. I know it seems extravagant, but it was well worth the price. I took my dog for a drive today for the first time. He lay down and stretched out when we were driving along the highway. He gets bored when he can’t see interesting things. He seemed very comfortable And it’s much better option than the hammock. I would buy again in a heartbeat. I believe it’s worth the price.
